Info session for the master's programme “Disinformation and Societal Resilience”

Information disorder - encompassing both intentional misleading, such as disinformation, but also accidental replication of false or manipulative information - is considered a wicked problem. There are no easy solutions and no shortcuts: the reasons behind our disrupted information environment are systematic, structural and foundational. If you are passionate about supporting individuals, organisations, countries or regions in their fight for information resilience, then our unique interdisciplinary 1-year master's programme “Disinformation and Societal Resilience” could be a fit for you!

Come explore your opportunities at the University of Tartu! The Virtual Open Day, held on 18 January, will offer you a chance to attend an online info session about the unique programme as well as possible career paths, tuition waivers and stipend opportunities. Info session for the programme “Disinformation and Societal Resilience” will take place at 17:00 (GMT+2).
General info on all international bachelor's and master's programmes in 2024 will be provided starting at 12:00 on the same day.

During the info session, you will meet programme director Maia Klaassen and lecturer Maria Murumaa-Mengel in an informal online setting, who will share how this program came about, introduce the study design and the aims and outcomes of the programme, and discuss internship opportunities as well as current and future career paths this education could open up. No such thing as a dumb question - come, ask, and start planning your future!
